‘My work is the reflection of my own desire. As much as it meets expectations, it also gives a sense of emptiness which words cannot express. But there is also sense of drive. Today’s ruthless world gives rise to a sense of frustration and often leads to a helpless situation, even then I find solace imagining myself to be a silent but imperceptible tree of this life or from a future one. So, in spite of being a human, I look for my reflection in those wistful immobile woods, in the yearning of being a seed, a bud, a seedling.-Khandkar Nasir Ahammed’
